2017 Comprehensive Plan Map & Zoning Map Amendments

The City of East Wenatchee and Douglas County have started the 60-day comment period for public review and comment regarding proposals to amend the Greater East Wenatchee Area Comprehensive Plan (GEWA Plan) land use map and the City and County official zoning maps.

City Proposal: The comment period for the proposal located within the City limits will begin October 2, 2017 and end on December 4, 2017.

  1. CPA/ZC 2017-01: Paul Bondo for Equilus Capital Partners, LLC on behalf of the property owner, Jennings Trust applied for an amendment to change the land use designation and zoning for a 3.7 acre parcel from Residential Low Density (R-L) to Residential Medium Density (R-M). The subject property is located at 50 14th St. NE, East Wenatchee.

    Douglas County Proposals: The comment period for the proposal located in unincorporated Douglas County within the City’s Urban Growth Area began on August 31, 2017 and ends on October 31, 2017. Douglas County has issued a Determination of Non-significance through the State Environmental Policy Act. Proposed amendments include:

  2. CPRZ-2017-01: D+D Investments Washington, LLC applied for a comprehensive plan designation change and a corresponding zoning reclassification from Office High Residential (R-H) to General Commercial (G-C). This proposal involves 4 parcels of land totaling approximately 5.6 acres in size and are addressed as 540, 542, 620, and 630 Rock Island Rd, East Wenatchee.
  3. CPRZ-2017-02: Cal-Neva, LLC and Rogelio Hernandez applied for a comprehensive plan designation change and a corresponding zoning reclassification from Residential Medium Density (R-M) to Office High Residential (R-H). The proposal involves 4 parcels of land totaling approximately 10 acres in size and are located at 2621 2nd St. SE, East Wenatchee

Any person has the right to submit written comments regarding these applications, to receive notice of and participate in any public hearings, request copies of the final decision or appeal the application pursuant to the East Wenatchee Municipal Code and applicable State Law.
